HTC Extends it’s One series with Mini 2, providing modest performance at an affordable price. HTC One Mini 2 is a successor of One mini and a grippable compact version of HTC One M8. Released in 2014, HTC mini 2 recalls aluminum body with stylized cut metal. Despite the fact that a little plastic is also used, One mini 2 is by far the most “metal” of all the mini champions. 70% of smartphone body is made of metal. The screen size of HTC One 2 is 4.5 inches (720p), unlike it’s earlier predecessor HTC One mini, it now supports memory cards. also Speakers would not get blocked by your fingers while holding it as HTC mini 2 speakers are now located on the front panel. Inside there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, with Adreno 305 graphics chip and 1GB of RAM. The smooth Sense interface of HTC One Mini 2 impresses fast enough while operating the device. The mini gadget copes equally well with games and other “heavy” applications. The memory capacity is 16 GB, and it can be expanded via microSD cards. 2100mAh Battery installed in the HTC’s mini 2 also outperforms its predecessor’s 1800 mAh. Finally, Hts One’s mini 2 is equipped with a camera with 13MP camera, able to record video at 1080p.

Step 1: This article should only be tried on HTC ONE MINI 2.

Step 2: You should charge your device so that there is at least 70% charge with it, this way there will be no Power interruption during the process.

Step 3: You should backup all valuable data’s on your phone, so that there is no data loss during the process.

Step 4: Please disable all Security programs like Antivirus and Firewall from your computer and uninstall the same from your phone, as these security programs will interrupt the process.

Step 5: Enable USB Debugging in your HTC ONE MINI 2 from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The option of USB Debugging should be ticked.

Download HTC USB Drivers for your PC so that it recognizes your device, if drivers does’nt work use HTC SYNC application which automatically installs driver your your device. Also, install Android SDK on your PC.


-Download the rom

-Extract boot.img and push it to your adb folder

-Reboot your phone as fastboot by pressing Volume Down + Power Button.

-Go to cmd on your pc and locate your adb folder (if your are completely noob and does’nt know how to locate adb folder this link will be useful)

-Type : fastboot flash boot boot.img

-and then reboot.
